About

Although a small country located on the Balkan Peninsula, Albania has a large biological and landscape diversity.  However, within recent years much of its biodiversity is being lost due to reasons such as land use change and pollution.

Project

The project, conducted in Zürich, will help implement a conservation biology model in Albanian universities enabling better methods and techniques in biological and environmental education.   Also, the project aims to modernize and update biology laboratories in two Albanian universities.
